The crash occurred at roughly 11:02 a.m. on Highway 68 also referred to as Main Street.
Sources report that the elderly woman identified as Jo Ann Eslinger, 89, was the driver of an undisclosed vehicle. She had waited to make a U-turn but did not directly in the path of a 16-year-old teen boy.
Eslinger sadly did not survive the collision as she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The teenager was injured but only to a minor degree. It was not disclosed whether or not he was transported to a hospital for assessment.
