At Least 1 Hurt in Traffic Collision at Main Street and Iris Drive Friday
Salinas, CA (July 16 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred in the area of Main Street and Iris Drive in Salinas Friday evening, according to KRON News.
Primary reports indicated a rollover collision took place at the Salinas intersection around 4:55 p.m. At this time, the make and model of the cars involved in the accident remained unknown.
When emergency teams arrived at the location, they received information that the car that triggered the incident left the scene.
Hit-and-Run Driver Arrested After Car Crash in Salinas, July 16
Authorities eventually located the suspect, then took the man into custody. The name of the hit-and-run driver and their age remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the article published online mentioned the crash left at least one person trapped in the wreckage. Emergency teams freed the victim, then treated them for injuries.
