At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident at Russell Road and Main Street Tuesday
Salinas, CA (September 14, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred in the area of Russell Road and Main Street, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated two or more vehicles collided at the Salinas intersection Tuesday evening. At this time, the make and model of the automobiles involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
The CHP logged the incident at about 6:07 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived, they immediately attended to all parties found at the crash site. Authorities later confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the collision.

Our sources mentioned a person involved in the accident fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the suspect.
Investigators continue to work at this time to identity and locate the hit-and-run suspect in the Salinas car crash.
