Turlock Man Killed Denair Pedestrian Crash
DENAIR, California (October 29, 2018) – Salvador Gudino, 26, of Turlock, was struck and killed on Sunday night at the intersection of Gratton and Barnhart roads, according to the California Highway Patrol and Stanislaus County coroner officials.
The collision took place about 6:30 p.m. between Keyes and Taylor roads. The young man had been walking southbound on Gratton Road prior to the crash. A driver in a 2010 Honda was heading southbound when she struck the victim. The young man was taken to Emmanuel Medical Center in Turlock, but later died of his injuries.
Mary Smith, 76, of Denair, was driving the vehicle that stuck Gudino. She stopped and cooperated with the police investigation.
