3 Badly Injured in DUI Crash
LOCATION: Salyer, Trinity County
DATE OF COLLISION: Sunday, July 8th
July 12, 2018- According to the Trinity Journal, a solo vehicle DUI crash left a driver and two passengers injured on Highway 299.
California Highway Patrol officials confirmed that the driver of a 2016 Mazda identified as Mason Sheridan, 29, of Santa Monica, had been traveling eastbound driving recklessly before veering off the road and overcorrecting before crashing the vehicle.
Sheridan and his two passengers who remain unidentified were all badly injured and rushed to local area hospitals for immediate assessment.
CHP officials were able to determine that Sheridan was indeed under the influence at the time of the crash. He will be arrested pending his release from the hospital.
