Passenger Airlifted to Hospital After Solo-Crash on SR-119 Wednesday
TAFT, Ca (March 30, 2020) – A car accident took place Wednesday afternoon on Highway 119, the Taft Midway Driller News reported.
Our sources indicated 43-year-old Samuel Craig was behind the wheel of a Chevy Lumina traveling west on the highway just east of Golf Course Road. For reasons still unclear, the vehicle drifted off the right side of the roadway and overturned multiple times.
The wreck took place on March 18 around 1:40 p.m.
When emergency teams arrived at the scene, they found the Chevy at rest on its wheels on a hillside.

Authorities said Samuel suffered minor wounds, but apparently declined medical treatment at the scene.
Meanwhile, a passenger in the Chevy, 38-year-old Rebecca Craig, was airlifted to Kern Medical. Per local news source, paramedics transported the woman to the hospital as a precaution.
Investigators mentioned the Chevy was running approximately 55 top 60 miles per hour when the crash happened. The precise cause of the accident remained under investigation.
