SAN JOSE: Pedestrian Killed Hit-and-Run on Monterey Highway and Stauffer Boulevard
SAN JOSE, California (March 26, 2-17) – An alleged hit-and-run accident left a pedestrian dead early Sunday morning in the area of Monterey Highway and Stauffer Boulevard, according to The Mercury News.
The collision was reported shortly after 12 a.m.
As per the article, police said a man was apparently in the roadway when he was struck by a car headed south on Monterey Highway.
CBS San Francisco wrote that the victim was immediately taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
