2 Seriously Injured in San Andreas Car Crash on Highway 49
SAN ANDREAS, CA (April 20, 2021) – Two were seriously injured after a car crash along Highway 49 in San Andreas.
According to an article published by My Mother Lode, the accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:40 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on Highway 49, north of the Highway 12 intersection, in San Andreas.

At least one person ended up ejected from a vehicle upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found two people hurt as a result of the collision.
Two air ambulances then took both patients to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not release their names and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a portion of Highway 49 to shut down near the junction following the crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
