Major Injury Collision on Highway 101 Thursday
San Benito County, CA (November 18, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic crash that occurred on Highway 101 Thursday evening.
Initial records indicated the wreck involved a semi truck and a Toyota Corolla. For an unknown reason, the two vehicles collided in the northbound side of the highway in San Benito County. Officials said the crash happened near Betabel Road.
Shortly after 11:35 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the location. First responders found the white sedan disabled in the center divider of US-101. Meanwhile, the truck reportedly sustained damage to its rear-end.

Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all parties found at the accident scene. Paramedics later confirmed one person suffered major injuries as a result of the wreck. At this time, the name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the site the whole evening to investigate exactly how and why the car crash on Highway 101 in San Benito County happened.
