SAN BERNARDINO, California (April 21, 2014) – At least one person was injured Monday morning in a 2-vehicle crash involving an alleged reckless driver on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway just south of Barton Road, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 6:36 a.m., CHP officers received a call about a crash in the middle lanes of the freeway that appears to have stemmed from the driver of a black Jeep that was “cutting vehicles off” just before the accident occurred, the report said.
The Jeep and a white sedan were blocking the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes following the crash and traffic was at a “dead stop,” the report said. Paramedics responded with an ambulance after at least one of those involved in the crash complained of pain.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the crash.
