SAN BERNARDINO, California (Thursday, July 2, 2015) – A fire sparked by a three-car collision on the northbound Interstate 215 Freeway blocked three lanes, including the HOV.
The accident occurred at 11:14 p.m. between a white Hyundai Santa Fe, a pickup truck, and a sedan, just north of the Interstate 10 Freeway. Two other vehicles may have been involved as well, according to the California Highway Patrol, but this has not yet been verified. The San Bernardino Fire Department arrived promptly to deal with the blaze. One party was injured in the collision and taken by ambulance for medical care.
The police are investigating to determine liability.
