SAN BERNARDINO, California (Wednesday, August 18, 2015) – A tractor trailer truck collided with about five to seven other vehicles late this afternoon on westbound Interstate 10 Freeway, west of Tippecanoe Avenue. The tractor truck lost a great quantity of fuel that spilled into a drainage area. At least one of the vehicles involved caught fire. Multiple ambulance were required to treat the injured parties, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The incident was reported at 4:43 p.m. All lanes were shutdown until the fuel spill could be cleaned. As of 8:20 p.m. the were still closed to through traffic.
