Multi-Vehicle Collision on Foothill (259) Freeway Sunday
San Bernardino, CA (October 3, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on State Route 259, also known as Foothill Freeway.
Initial records indicated multiple vehicles collided on the freeway in San Bernardino. Official said the wreck involved as many as five automobiles; including a gray sedan, a dark-colored sedan. The make and model of the other cars found at the scene have not been revealed thus far.
Shortly after 1:50 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found one person possibly trapped in the disabled gray sedan.
At Least 1 Injured in San Bernardino Car Accident, October 3
Paramedics immediately rendered aid to all victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. Additional details on the victim remained undisclosed.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car accident on State Route 259 in San Bernardino happened.
