2 Killed, 3 Injured in San Bernardino Crash at 5th Street and Sierra Way
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (April 26, 2021) – A car crash at 5th Street and Sierra Way killed two people and injured several others in San Bernardino.
According to a report published by the On Scene TV, the tragic accident occurred on Sunday night. Officers reported the wreck on April 25 at about 9:33 p.m.
Police said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason at the intersection of 5th Street and North Sierra Way in San Bernardino. The white car rolled upside down on top of the black colored vehicle.
Rollover Collision in San Bernardino
Both cars sustained major damage upon impact. Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded and pronounced two individuals dead at the scene.
Firefighters then extricated two occupants trapped inside the white vehicle as a result of the collision. The rescued patients and the driver of the black car were hurt following the crash.
Medical personnel soon rushed them to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties remain unreleased.
Meanwhile, officials forced the intersection to shut down in all directions after the wreck. Authorities believed that speed played a role in the fatal San Bernardino crash. The investigation is still ongoing.
