1 Seriously Injured in San Bernardino Crash on 5th Street Near Tippecanoe
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (September 3, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on 5th Street in San Bernardino.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:10 p.m.
The incident log said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in San Bernardino. They crashed at 24819 5th Street near Tippecanoe Avenue.
CHP described two of the cars involved as a black Nissan Altima and a Toyota Corolla. The Nissan Altima obtained major front-end damage upon impact.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The Toyota Corolla came to a stop with major right side and rear damage. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at the time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of 5th Street to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the San Bernardino crash is still under investigation.
