SAN BERNARDINO: Search for Teens Who Shot Child, 5, in Forehead with BB-Gun on Conejo Drive

SAN BERNARDINO, California (Tuesday, August 4, 2015) – A 5 year-old child was shot in the forehead with a BB-gun by two male teenagers, approximately 13-17 years-old. The San Bernardino Sheriff-Coroner Department issued a report this morning from the desk of John McMahon, concerning the shooting incident that had occurred Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 11:42 p.m.

The police are still searching for the two teens allegedly responsible for the young child’s injuries, which personnel at the Loma Linda Children’s Hospital described as superficial. The boy has been recovering nicely.

The two teens fled the scene of the shooting prior to the arrival of the deputies. They were last seen running northbound on Conejo Drive. Witnesses stated that the teens lived in the area. Their names according to these witnesses are Alan and Larry.

The 5 year-old boy had been sitting in his backyard, according to ABC7, when he was shot with the BB.
