Multi-Vehicle Collision in San Bernardino on I-215
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Dec. 3, 2024) — A San Bernardino collision involving several vehicles happened Tuesday morning on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway, just north of 5th Street.
The traffic accident occurred around 9 a.m. on Dec. 3rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a grey Ford Mustang was blocking the fast lane and another vehicle was blocking the HOV lane.
The Mustang driver was trying to push the vehicle out of traffic lanes when police reported a grey Mazda CX9 and a silver Pontiac collided in the center divider area of the freeway.
Other motorists including a grey Ford Focus, a grey Honda Accord, and a black Dodge Challenger pulled to the right shoulder, but it’s unknown if they were involved.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with injuries and a tow truck removed the Mazda due to major rear-end damage.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the collision in San Bernardino on the 215 Freeway.
