Several Injured After Head-On Boat Crash in Colorado River

September 2, 2018 – Several people were injured in a boating accident Saturday evening in the Colorado River
According to KTLA News, two recreational vessels collided head-on in the stretch of the river near Topock Gorge and Park Moabi Channel.
Primary reports indicated the crash caused one of the boats to sink while, the other sustained heavy damages.
Shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday, emergency crews arrived at the location and immediately rendered aid to the victims. As per the article, at least twelve patients were rescued from the wreck.
Major Boating Accident Saturday in San Bernardino County
At this time, only one person reportedly suffered the most serious injuries as a result of the accident. That victim was airlifted to a Las Vegas-area trauma center. Furthermore, six people suffered moderate injuries, while the remaining patients were treated for minor injuries.
The names of the patients have not been disclosed thus far.
Authorities added multiple people are considered missing following the incident.
