4 Injured in 2-Vehicle Car Accident on I-15 Freeway
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (March 26, 2024) — Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on the northbound Interstate 15 Freeway in San Bernardino.
The collision occurred at around 7:27 a.m. on March 26th, on the Mojave-Barstow Freeway just north of Mathews Ranch Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a red pickup truck crashed into a white Chevrolet HHR station wagon pulling a small trailer that was stopped on the right shoulder.
A Los Angeles city fire medic was driving by and happened to see the collision or the aftermath. He stopped to help those injured in the crash. One person was laying down on the right side near the crash scene.
Paramedics also responded and assisted three people with minor injuries and one person with moderate to critical injuries. It’s unknown if all four people were taken to a hospital at this time.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the I-15 Freeway in San Bernardino.
