Major Injury Crash on I-215 Freeway in San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (June 17, 2022) — A two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck happened Friday morning on the Interstate 215 Freeway in San Bernardino.
The collision occurred about 11:03 a.m. on June 17th, just north of Baseline Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Honda Civic and a semi-truck collided due to unknown circumstances.
The car wound up facing sideways in the No. 3 lane and the truck ended up in the HOV lane, police said. Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash. At least one person suffered major injuries and they took the person to a hospital.
Additionally, a tow truck removed the Honda due to major front-end damage.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash.
