Fatal Collision Near Highway 138
San Bernardino, CA (July 24, 2022) – At least one person died following a traffic crash that occurred on the Interstate 15 Freeway Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a collision between two vehicles took place in the southbound side of I-15 in San Bernardino. The catastrophic incident took place just north of State Route Highway 138.
CHP logged the case shortly after 5:30 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found a white SUV and a gray sedan both with major damages. Additional details on the make and model of the cars involved in the wreck have not been discussed thus far.

Responding paramedics rendered aid to all the occupants of the sedan and the SUV. Sadly, one person succumbed to their injuries and died in the collision. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the fatal victim pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly crash happened on Interstate 15 in San Bernardino.
