Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Connecting Ramp Onto I-215
San Bernardino, CA (May 27, 2023) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 259 on May 27, Saturday.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a vehicle struck an individual on SR-259 near the connecting ramp onto Interstate 215 Freeway. CHP logged the case at about 9:12 p.m.

Emergency crews responded to the crash site. When paramedics arrived, they immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian found bleeding and lying in the far right lane of the highway. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Highway 259 in San Bernardino.
