Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian Near 215 Freeway
San Bernardino, CA (July 22, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly pedestrian accident that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway.
Our sources indicated a vehicle was heading east on I-10 Thursday evening. When the motorist approached the area near 215 Freeway, it reportedly struck an individual.
CHP logged the incident at about 9:16 p.m.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 in San Bernardino
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the victim laying down in the number one lane of the highway. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim, but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities mentioned two or more vehicles stopped near the crash site. At this time, the description of the car that hit the victim have not been revealed thus far.
Detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Interstate 10 in San Bernardino.
