Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Vehicles on Barstow (215) Freeway Wednesday
San Bernardino, CA (August 25, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Wednesday evening on Interstate 215, also known as Barstow Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a male party was seen walking from the right-hand shoulder of the freeway towards the center divider. Earlier reports indicated an oncoming vehicle eventually struck the male pedestrian.
Officials believed several other passing motorist failed to avoid the victim, and ran over the body.
The horrible crash took place near Palm Avenue in San Bernardino.

Shortly after 10 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the accident scene. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the pedestrian with severe injuries. The CHP log later confirmed the unidentified man died as a result of the collision.
Meanwhile, authorities described the cars found at the scene as a black Honda Civic; and a white semi truck. The make and model of the other automobiles possible involved in the unfortunate event remained unknown at this time.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident in San Bernardino.
