SAN BERNARDINO, California (Thursday, October 29, 2015) – An elderly woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run collision on West 9th and North L Streets. The woman, in her 80s, crossed north at the crosswalk when she was hit by the eastbound motorist, according to Sergeant Vicki Cervantes. The name of the victim has not yet been released, until her next of kin have been notified.
The accident occurred this evening at about 5:38 p.m., as reported by the Press Enterprise News. At this time the police are studying video surveillance to ascertain the identity of the hit-and-run suspect.
