1 Killed in San Bernardino Crash at Del Rosa Avenue and Eureka Street
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 21, 2021) – At least one was killed after a car crash at Del Rosa Avenue and Eureka Street in San Bernardino.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident occurred on Sunday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:48 p.m.
Two vehicles collided for an unknown reason at the intersection of Del Rosa Avenue North and Eureka Street. CHP described them as white Toyota Camry and a Jeep.
Car Collision Near Del Rosa Elementary School
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene near the Del Rosa Elementary School. They confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased victim remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, one of the cars involved sustained major front and left side damage upon impact.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if any other party sustained injuries in the incident. Officials forced Del Rosa and Eureka to close for a time following the crash.
The cause of the fatal wreck is still under investigation.
