Woman, 34, Killed in San Bernardino Hit-and-Run on 210 Freeway
SAN BERNARDINO (December 20, 2018) – A driver was killed after an alleged hit-and-run crash along the 210 Freeway late Wednesday night, according to The Press Enterprise.
The accident took place on December 19 at about 11:35 p.m. near Miramonte Drive.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said a 34-year-old San Bernardino woman was driving a Jeep east on the 210 Freeway when for an unknown reason a white tractor-trailer veered into her path.
The female motorist reportedly stepped on the brakes, causing her to overcorrect. Her Jeep then rolled over, swerved off the freeway before slamming into the rear of a Peterbilt semi-truck that parked at the time.

CHP affirmed that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
It was not specified in the report whether the driver of the stopped big rig, who was sleeping inside the truck when the wreck occurred, was hurt upon impact.
Meanwhile, the operator of the white tractor-trailer that allegedly drifted in front of the victim vehicle did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
