Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle on I-215 Freeway Saturday
San Bernardino, CA (April 3, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly pedestrian accident that occurred on Interstate 215 Freeway Saturday evening.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., a vehicle struck a male party in the southbound side of the freeway. Initial records indicated the catastrophic incident took place near Highland Avenue in San Bernardino.

First responders found at the scene the male pedestrian lying unconscious on the road. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the man but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. At this time, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
According to the CHP dispatch, the unfortunate event involved a red Dodge Charger and a semi truck. No immediate information was available on the drivers of the two vehicles.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the fatal pedestrian accident on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino.
