At Least 1 Injured in Traffic Collision at 40th and E Street Saturday
San Bernardino, CA (May 17, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run car crash that occurred in the area of 40th and E Street.
On May 15, Saturday, a white vehicle collided with another car at the San Bernardino intersection. Initial records indicated one vehicle was traveling in the wrong traffic lanes when the crash happened.
Emergency crews arrived at the accident scene shortly after 6 p.m. Paramedics evaluated the physical condition of all parties found at the site. After the assessment, authorities confirmed one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.

Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch mentioned a motorist involved in the collision fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
