Pregnant Woman Killed in San Bernardino Hit-and-run Pedestrian Accident
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (July 12, 2018) — A driver struck and killed a 40-year-old pregnant woman Wednesday as she walked across Highland Avenue, now police are searching for the suspect who fled, according to a report by NBC Los Angeles.
The woman was in a crosswalk at the time of the collision at Medical Center Drive. The driver of the vehicle crashed into a fence after hitting the pedestrian. They left the vehicle and fled the scene without stopping to help the victim whose body was found in the middle of the street.
Police are hoping to locate the suspect who fled.

At this time, it appears that the driver who fled is responsible for the death of this woman and her unborn child. Police are seeking to find the suspect and hold him or her accountable for their actions.
