At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Highway 10 Saturday
San Bernardino, CA (June 13, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on Interstate 10, also known as Christopher Columbus Transcontinental Highway, Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided in the westbound side of I-10 at Tippecanoe Avenue. Officials identified the vehicles found at the scene as a blue Dodge pickup truck and a black Dodge Journey.
Emergency teams responded to the crash site shortly before 1 p.m. When medical personnel arrived at the location, they found at least one person with injuries. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim, whose name remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch mentioned one motorist fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the hit-and-run car crash in San Bernardino.
