Multi-Vehicle Collision on Foothill (210) Freeway Saturday
San Bernardino, CA (September 19, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Interstate 210, also known as Foothill Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound side of the freeway near the Highland Avenue offramp. First responders found at the scene a blue Subaru, and a gray Dodge Avenger. Meanwhile, the make and model of the other cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Shortly after 4:17 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the crash site. Paramedics at the scene immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. According to the CHP log, at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the incident. The name of the injured party and their condition remained unknown.

Authorities later confirmed one motorist involved in the accident fled the scene on foot. Witnesses saw the hit-and-run suspect wearing a black shirt, and jeans.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash in San Bernardino.
