Injury Traffic Collision Near Interstate 15 Freeway Sunday
San Bernardino, CA (January 11, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run car crash that occurred on Interstate 215, also known as Riverside Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided in the northbound side of I-215. The car accident took place on January 9, Sunday.
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 10:20 p.m. First responders found at the scene one car overturned on its roof near the ramp onto 15 Freeway.
Paramedics checked the conditions of all parties abandoned at the scene. After the evaluation, officials confirmed one person sustained injuries as a result of the incident. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, officials mentioned one driver involved in the crash fled the scene. Authorities believed the two drivers were racing each other prior to the accident.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect. Further investigation is underway on the car crash on Interstate 215 in San Bernardino.
