San Bernardino: Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 215At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Riverside (215) Freeway Friday

San Bernardino, CA (October 2, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on Interstate 215, also known as Riverside Freeway, on October 1.

The California Highway Patrol group reported a man riding a motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the southbound side of the freeway. Officials said the accident took place near the Inland Center Drive in San Bernardino.

Shortly after 10:11 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the rider sitting down in the center divider. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim, then later transferred them to the hospital for treatment. The name of the injured motorcyclist and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.

The accident dispatch mentioned the driver the hit the rider fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.

Further investigation on the motorcycle crash in San Bernardino is ongoing.
