SAN BERNARDINO, California (Wednesday, August 26, 2015) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision between a white pickup truck and a grey SUV occurred on southbound State Route Highway 18 and Upper Waterman, this afternoon. All the southbound lanes were temporarily closed. A chopper was called in; it landed on the highway. As the wreckage was towed from the scene, authorities allowed alternating lanes to resume travel.
The accident occurred at about 3:31 p.m., according to a California Highway Patrol report. All lanes were reopened shortly before six o’clock.
