SAN BERNARDINO, California (Tuesday, September 28, 2015) – A green Honda slammed into the center divide on westbound Interstate 10 Freeway at the California Street off-ramp, crossing back to the right hand shoulder. Another witness reported that the vehicle was a silver Toyota Scion.
The cause of the accident itself remains unknown, but at least one party, possibly more, suffered minor injuries. They were transported via ambulance to a hospital. The wrecked vehicle itself caught fire. When this was contained a towing company with a flatbed truck removed the vehicle from the scene. Other vehicles might have been involved.
The accident occurred at about 8:55 p.m., according to a Redlands California Highway Patrol incident report. No further details are currently available.
