SAN BERNARDINO, California (August 21, 2014) – At least six vehicles including a motorcycle were involved in a crash Thursday morning on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway, just south of the escape ramp, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
Just before 9 a.m., CHP officers responded to the collision and reported that a motorcyclist was down in the No. 1 lane of the roadway. A black Dodge Dart sedan, a Cadillac Escalade, a black Honda Roadster and at least two other vehicles were in the collision blocking both the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
Paramedics responded to the crash to assist those who were injured and police created a traffic break and issued a SigAlert for the crash.
Desert Valley Tow sent two flatbed trucks to the scene of the crash to remove damaged vehicles.
“Police will conduct a full investigation into this car accident and will issue a report with all the details about this accident,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Anyone who is injured in this crash will need to obtain this report if they intend to file a personal injury claim.”
