SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., (July 1, 2014) — A pickup truck overturned in a collision with a cement truck and several other cars on the northbound Interstate 215 Freeway near the Interstate 10 Freeway, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers reported a cement truck arm went sideways into lanes and a blue Chevrolet pickup truck was on its side in the No. 1 lane. Other vehicles involved were a blue Volkswagen Jetta and a gray Honda sedan. A semi-tractor trailer truck driver called police  to inform them she might also have been involved in the crash, the report said.

Paramedics responded to the crash to assist those who were possibly injured. At least two tow truck companies responded, Statewide and Pepe’s Towing.

“Police will ultimately determine liability for this multi-vehicle crash,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Once liability has been determined anyone who is injured and not at fault may file a claim.”
