SAN BERNARDINO, California (Sunday, January 31, 2016) – A tractor-trailer truck overturned three times, only to be struck by multiple vehicles, on westbound Interstate 10 Freeway, at the 210 Freeway connector. The roadways were closed from midmorning until late afternoon. Most of the debris covering the roadway came from the trailer of the truck that jackknifed.
Smoke issued from the wreckage as a fire started.
At least one party was injured in the incident. He was transported via ambulance to the nearest possible medical facility.
The incident occurred this morning at 9:35 a.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino. Two flatbed wreckers were required to clear the scene.
