Pedestrian Seriously Injured in San Bernardino Crash at Glasgow and Pacific
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (November 15, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash at Glasgow Avenue and Pacific Street in San Bernardino.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the incident at about 5:23 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in the Pacific neighborhood of San Bernardino. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Glasgow Avenue and Pacific Street.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Pacific High School. They found the victim who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. Officers forced the area of Glasgow and Pacific to close following the collision.
The cause of the San Bernardino pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
