SAN BERNARDINO, California (April 6, 2016) —– A car carrying children overturned Wednesday morning and some were possibly ejected on the northbound Interstate 215 Freeway at 5th Street, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 6:19 a.m. and involved numerous injuries, the report said. The vehicle was described as a gray Mercedes. It landed on its roof and was blocking the No. 3 lane. Police issued a SigAlert for the crash due to heavy traffic.
Paramedics responded to help the injured, but there were no further details provided.
