SAN BERNARDINO, California (May 1, 2015) — A man became trapped in his vehicle Friday morning following a solo car crash into a power pole on Cajon Boulevard at Short Street, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
“A man is inside the vehicle hitting the door and he can’t get out,” the report said.
About 5:50 a.m., CHP officers responded to the crash with fire rescue personnel to help the man who was stuck inside his white 2000 Ford Taurus sedan. Paramedics were also at the scene to help the injured man. The report did not indicate whether there were any other motorists involved.
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability.
