Man, 55, Killed at San Bruno BART Station Parking Garage
SAN BRUNO (October 25, 2018) – A fatal accident occurred in a parking garage of a BART station along Huntington Avenue Thursday morning, according to The Mercury News and NBC Bay Area.
The collision was reported at 8:52 a.m. at 1151 Huntington Avenue.
As per the reports, BART officials said a 55-year-old man was walking on the fourth floor of the station’s parking garage when for an unknown reason he was struck by a vehicle.
Victim Hit by Car at San Bruno BART Station
Paramedics responded to the scene and immediately transported the victim to San Francisco General Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the driver who hit the man stopped and cooperated with the authorities. The car involved was described as a 1997 Ford Expedition.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
