Minor Traffic Collision Causes Delays on I-280 South in San Bruno

SAN BRUNO, CA (March 6, 2025) – A minor injury crash on the southbound Interstate 280 Freeway, just north of Crystal Springs Road early Thursday in San Bruno.

The crash was reported at 6:51 AM on March 6th between a gray BMW and a blue Toyota Prius or Corolla, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

CHP officials report there were no major injuries, however, the crash prompted the closure of traffic lanes as crews worked to clear the wreckage.

The crash temporarily blocked both the right-hand Nos. 3 and 4 lanes, causing congestion during the busy morning commute. Tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the roadway.
