At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near Highway 101
San Bruno, CA (May 15, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly car accident that occurred on Interstate 380, also known as Quentin Kopp Freeway.
Officials said two vehicles collided on the freeway near State Route Highway 101. The crash took place on May 13 at about 7:30 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a silver Honda Civic with major front-end damage. The make and model of the other automobile involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Deadly Car Accident on Interstate 380 in San Bruno
Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sadly died as a result of the wreck. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly crash on Interstate 380 in San Bruno.
