Pedestrian, 85, Seriously Injured in Crash at San Bruno and Green Avenues
SAN BRUNO, CA (May 21, 2021) – An elderly pedestrian was seriously injured after an accident at San Bruno and Green avenues in San Bruno.
According to an article published by The Daily Journal, the tragic incident occurred on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the crash on May 19 at about 6:51 a.m.
San Bruno police said a vehicle struck an 85-year-old pedestrian for an unknown reason. The car hit the person at the intersection of San Bruno and Green avenues.
Elderly Victim Hit by Car in San Bruno
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near El Camino Real. They found the elderly victim hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the 33-year-old Pacifica driver stopped and stayed at the crash site after hitting the victim. Officers forced the intersection to close following the accident.
