Man, 50, Critically Injured in San Bruno Hit-and-Run on Highway 82
SAN BRUNO (October 8, 2018) – A pedestrian was critically injured after an alleged hit-and-run accident on El Camino Real late Friday night, according to East Bay Times and Kron 4 News.
The collision was reported on October 5 at about 11:30 p.m., south of San Felipe Avenue.
As per the reports, police said a 50-year-old man was struck by a vehicle for an unknown reason on southbound El Camino Real. El Camino is al known as Highway 82.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found the victim lying in the roadway with major injuries. The man was then immediately taken to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
His name was not released. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
The suspect car was believed to be a newer model crossover SUV, similar to a Ford Edge, and either maroon or dark red in color. The investigation is ongoing.
