SAN DIEGO COUNTY, California (March 22, 2016) – A hit-and-run crash in San Carlos sent a bicyclist to a hospital on Saturday, according to CBS 8.
Police said the collision took place around 5:30 p.m. near the Lake Murray on ramp to westbound Interstate 8 Freeway.
As per CBS 8, a gray sedan was last seen going west on the 8 Freeway after colliding with the bicycle rider.
The victim, whose name was not released, was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
Witnesses claimed that the driver involved exited the car, moved the bike out of the way and fled the scene. The motorist was was described as a white female, about 20 to 25-years-old with dark hair, wearing a black shirt.
