Construction Worker Seriously Injured in San Carlos Crash on State Route 125
SAN CARLOS, CA (September 16, 2022) – A crash seriously injured a construction worker on State Route 125 in San Carlos.
According to an article published by the ABC 10 News, the accident took place late Tuesday night. Officers reported the collision on September 13 at around 11 p.m.
The incident began when an SUV drove past a construction zone on southbound State Route 125. For an unknown reason, the driver of the car slammed into a large flashing arrow sign on a trailer.

The impact of the collision sent the sign into the construction worker near Navajo Road. Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the scene.
They found the employee who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the motorist stopped or stayed at the site following the wreck.
Officials forced the southbound lanes of State Route 125 to shut down after the incident. The cause of the San Carlos crash is still under investigation.
