Major Injury Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101 in San Carlos
SAN CARLOS, Calif. (Nov. 10, 2022) — A San Carlos motorcycle accident happened Thursday morning on the southbound Highway 101 near Brittan Avenue.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 8:45 a.m. on Nov. 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle and a white Lexus sedan collided due to unknown circumstances.
The rider went down in the No. 2 lane and was conscious and breathing following the collision, the report said. Paramedics responded and transported the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Also, the motorcycle sustained major rollover damage in the crash and required a tow truck.
Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together what happened to determine fault for the San Carlos motorcycle accident.
